**Role Summary**
* Associate Manager in the Industrial department, Grade E2, with 2\-5 years of experience.
* Responsible for managing day\-to\-day Industrial Relations and Employee Relations activities.
* Focused on maintaining employee discipline, harmonious workplace relations, and statutory compliance.
* Also supports commercial data entry, inventory records, and physical stock verification for cotton, fibre, yarn, and waste.
* Supports yarn spinning operations to help ensure efficient production and consistent quality.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Handle day\-to\-day employee grievances and ensure timely resolution through coordination with employees, supervisors, and management.
* Maintain harmonious relations with workers, contract labour, and supervisors.
* Monitor employee discipline and support appropriate action in cases of misconduct, absenteeism, and indiscipline.
* Support disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and misconduct\-related cases.
* Conduct regular shop\-floor rounds to monitor employee discipline, attendance, behaviour, and engagement.
* Coordinate with contractors regarding manpower deployment, attendance, wages, PF, ESIC, and other statutory documentation.
* Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and maintain required statutory records and registers.
* Assist in labour inspections, audits, statutory submissions, and liaison with labour authorities whenever required.
* Support employee welfare, engagement, and other ER initiatives.
* Maintain proper documentation of employee grievances, disciplinary cases, notices, and other IR/ER matters.
* Enter cotton input, waste output, and yarn stock data accurately.
* Maintain records of cotton, fibre, yarn, and waste inventory.
* Conduct physical stock verification against system records.
* Identify and report stock discrepancies for reconciliation.
* Prepare basic stock and material movement reports.
**Must\-Have Skills**
* Good understanding of Industrial Relations and Employee Relations practices
* Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance requirements
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict\-handling skills
* Ability to deal effectively with workers, contract labour, and shop\-floor employees
* Good understanding of employee discipline and grievance\-handling processes
* Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
* Good knowledge of MS Excel and accurate data entry
* Basic understanding of inventory, stock reconciliation, and material movement
* Good numerical and analytical ability to identify stock discrepancies
* Ability to work closely with Production, Stores, Commercial, Finance, and HR teams
**Nice\-to\-Have Skills**
* Experience in spinning, yarn manufacturing, or textile manufacturing
* Exposure to labour inspections and statutory audits
* Experience in domestic enquiries and misconduct\-related case handling
* Familiarity with employee welfare and engagement initiatives
* Basic understanding of production parameters in yarn spinning operations
