We're hiring: Executive Assistant to the CEO at Story's Merch, Trivandrum

It's been a while, this journey, and we've finally settled in. Story's Merch is Booksthakam's first retail venture. It's home to books published under our concerns, custom embroidered merch, weekend drum classes, cycle rentals, a podcast studio, and 67 Stories, our rooftop café and community space, with sunset views, flight take-offs, tea, coffee and the best snacks. It's also where our team works from every day.

We're now looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO. This is someone who becomes the CEO's right hand and keeps everything moving across publishing, the store and the rooftop.

What you'll do

• Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, calls and day-to-day priorities
• Handle emails and correspondence with authors, vendors, partners and our internal team
• Follow up on tasks, deadlines and commitments so that nothing slips through the cracks
• Coordinate store operations at Story's Merch and events at 67 Stories
• Prepare documents, maintain records and keep files organised
• Be a warm, reliable point of contact for everyone who walks in or calls

What we're looking for

You'll be part of our core team, so we're looking for someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told. You should be organised and quick to follow up. You should be comfortable with a fast pace and changing priorities, and warm and patient with authors, customers and visitors. Good written and spoken communication matters a lot in this role, and a genuine love for books and stories will make you feel right at home.

Salary: ₹20,000 per month
