Job Description
We are hiring a detail-oriented Quality Analyst to review and verify the content, social media creatives, and web pages published for our US and UK travel websites. You will make sure everything is accurate, original, SEO-compliant, error-free, and consistent with brand standards before it goes live. This is a hands-on role where you will personally review, test, and report on quality.
Responsibilities
- Review travel and flight content (route pages, airline pages, airport pages, destination pages, deals pages, blogs, and core website pages) for accuracy, grammar, readability, and brand tone
- Verify US and UK airport names, IATA airport codes, airline names and codes, routes, and other travel facts against reliable sources
- Check content for originality and plagiarism using tools such as Copyscape or similar, and flag AI-generated or templated, repetitive copy
- Check SEO compliance, including keywords, headings, metadata, internal links, FAQs, and search intent, against the content brief
- Test published pages on WordPress/CMS for broken links, formatting issues, missing metadata, schema errors, mobile responsiveness, and page speed basics
- Review social media posts, carousels, reels, and captions for accuracy, brand consistency, spelling, and platform fit before publishing
- Maintain quality checklists, scorecards, and error logs for each writer and team
- Track error and revision rates, and share regular quality reports with insights and recommendations
- Give clear, constructive feedback to writers, designers, and social media team members
- Identify recurring issues and help build content guidelines, style guides, and QA processes
- Re-check pages after updates when route, airline, airport, or travel information changes
- Coordinate with the content, SEO, design, social media, and technology teams to close quality gaps before deadlines
- Check customer-facing and legal pages (Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Terms, Contact Us) for completeness and consistency
Requirements
- Excellent English with strong proofreading, editing, and grammar skills
- Strong attention to detail and fact-checking discipline
- Good knowledge of US and UK geography, major airports, IATA codes, airlines, and popular routes
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page elements, headings, internal linking, metadata)
- Working knowledge of WordPress or another CMS
- Experience with plagiarism and grammar tools (Copyscape, Grammarly, or similar)
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or Ahrefs (advantage)
- Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT to speed up review work, while verifying the output
- Ability to review high volumes of content without compromising accuracy
- Good communication skills to give clear, professional feedback
- Strong time management and ability to meet daily deadlines
Preferred Experience
- 1 to 4 years in content QA, editing, proofreading, SEO auditing, or website testing
- Experience in travel, aviation, airline, OTA, e-commerce, or SEO content is strongly preferred
