Job Description – Sr. Chemist (Raw Materials) Position: Sr. Chemist – Raw Materials Department: LAB/Quality Reporting To: Manager Designation: Chemist Location: Chhattisgarh Employment Type: Full\-Time Key Responsibilities Quality Testing \- Lead and conduct physical and chemical quality tests on raw materials using approved testing methods and laboratory equipment. \- Maintain accurate documentation of quality testing activities and submit reports to the reporting manager. \- Supervise sample collection from incoming raw materials, production units, and slag. \- Prepare and circulate daily quality reports to relevant stakeholders. \- Ensure proper grade labeling and allocation of finished goods for dispatch. \- Conduct additional quality tests as required by management. \- Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. \- Raise maintenance requests for laboratory equipment and purchase requisitions for required chemicals. Qualifications \- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Experience \- Minimum 3 years of experience in raw material testing. \- Experience in the steel, Ferro alloy, or manufacturing industry is mandatory.
