**About the Role**

We are seeking a **Senior Product Design Engineer** who can bridge design and engineering by prototyping and shipping production‑ready code. This role requires strong product design judgment combined with hands‑on frontend engineering skills. You will work directly in the production codebase, own design systems, and define how design work becomes shipped interfaces.

**Roles \& Responsibilities**

• Design and build UI directly in code, prototyping novel AI‑native interactions.
• Collaborate in a pod (PM \+ Engineering Lead \+ Designer) to take features from concept to shipped.
• Own interaction and motion details including loading states, transitions, and micro‑interactions.
• Build and maintain shared UI components and design systems.
• Work directly in the production codebase, ensuring clean, production‑ready code.
• Set standards and guardrails for AI‑generated code to ensure accessibility and maintainability.
• Mentor other designers to close the gap between design and frontend‑ready code.

**Ideal Candidate**

• Strong **Product Design Engineer** profile combining design and frontend coding.
• Minimum 2\+ years in product design with depth in **dense, complex interfaces** (tables, forms, permissions, multi‑role flows).
• Proven ability to ship **production‑ready frontend code** independently.
• Hands‑on with **React, HTML, CSS, GitHub** in a production environment.
• Experience setting guardrails for AI‑generated code.
• Must share a **GitHub profile and portfolio** with real product prototypes (not marketing sites or Figma‑only work).
• Excellent English communication skills for working with global stakeholders.
• Background in **B2B SaaS** or early‑stage startups where design and engineering were integrated.
• Preferred: Experience with **AI‑native interfaces** (streaming output, agentic workflows, confidence/uncertainty in UI).

Pay: Up to ₹5,000,000\.00 per year
