Job Summary

​The Enterprise Systems Professional II – IT Business Technology Lead serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, responsible for analyzing business processes, leading technology initiatives, and delivering enterprise system solutions that support organizational objectives. This role combines business analysis, project leadership, solution design, and stakeholder management to ensure technology investments align with operational goals. The position operates with a high degree of independence and provides guidance on system enhancements, process improvements, and technology strategy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Business Relationship Management
• Support enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or other ERP applications.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary IT contact for assigned business functions.
• Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges, goals, and technology needs.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, business process reviews, and solution workshops.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Systems and Solution Management
• Lead the evaluation, implementation, enhancement, and support of enterprise applications.
• Coordinate system upgrades, integrations, testing, and deployment activities.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency.
• Manage system configuration and optimization efforts.
• Lead medium-to-large technology initiatives and system improvement projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business users, vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure projects meet business requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Process Improvement and Analysis
• Project Leadership
• Analyze business workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and system procedures.
• Support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Recommend technology solutions that improve productivity and scalability.
• Governance and Support
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and governance requirements.
• Support audit, compliance, and risk management activities.
• Maintain application documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories.
• Provide advanced support and escalation assistance for critical business systems.

Education and Certifications

​Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required.

Coordinates vendor resources and manages issue escalation for enterprise applications.

Influences application roadmaps, support models, and business technology strategies.

Escalates major budget, security, compliance, architecture, or enterprise-wide impacts to IT leadership.

Serves as the primary decision-maker for day-to-day business technology operations within assigned functional areas.
