Essential Duties and Responsibilities -----------------------------------------
Strategic HR Management
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on HR practices and policies to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Act as a change agent to drive and manage organizational change initiatives.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Employee Relations:
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective inquiries.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee issues and implementing engagement initiatives.
- Manage conflict resolution and provide coaching to managers on handling employee relations matters.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Talent management:
- Provide guidance and support to managers on conducting performance reviews and setting objectives.
- Provides guidance and input on workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identify and address performance issues and develop action plans for improvement.
Capacity Building:
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Identify skill gaps and implement relevant training, technical capability programs, and leadership development interventions.
- Support apprenticeship programs (ITI/Diploma/Graduate trainees) and skill‑upgrade initiatives.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time
Keys to Success -------------------
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, and business acumen.
- Good understanding of manufacturing/plant HR processes.
- Knowledge of labor laws, ER/IR fundamentals, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle large shift‑based workforce.
- Data‑driven decision making and proficiency in HRIS, Excel, and reporting.
Supervisory Responsibilities --------------------------------
The incumbent reports to Head - HR Indiaand support him in all day to day activities to achieve the business objectives of the company
Requirements and Preferred Skills -------------------------------------
- Requires a MBA(HR)/MHRM/MSW.
- Must have a minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in HR, Talent Management.
