The ideal candidate should have knowledge of tax and accounting standards, including NIF, US GAAP, and IFRS, as well as team and project management skills. Experience in the energy sector is preferred. Lead compliance with standards for recording financial transactions, account and record controls and reconciliations, and reporting for internal and external audiences, including financial statements, cash flow reports, budget reports, regulatory reports, and others. **Job Responsibilities** * Leading a team of 20 to 40 members involved in day\-to\-day accounting, reconciliation and reporting activities * Managing global stakeholders – Finance Controllers/CFO * Monitor compliance with the company’s internal controls and tax, legal, regulatory, labor, social security, and other obligations. * Participate in meetings with client’s different departments and maintain direct communication to identify needs or situations with accounting impacts. * Continuous process improvement initiatives and driving transformation projects * Coordinate, supervise, and authorize accounting close processes, including, but not limited to, posting various journal entries (revenue and general journals), reviewing monthly trial balances, reconciling and/or clearing general ledger accounts, analyzing financial information, preparing close reports and checklists, and completing Trintech tasks.
