Senior Technical Assistant – Job Description **Job Summary** We are looking for a **Technical Assistant** to support our plant technical and maintenance team. The role involves assisting with machinery inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair activities across Green Worms plants. The candidate should have basic technical knowledge, good coordination skills, and be willing to travel between plants when required. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the technical team in the inspection and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment. * Assist in identifying and troubleshooting basic mechanical and electrical issues. * Support installation, repair, and replacement of machinery parts and equipment. * Assist the team in carrying out preventive and routine maintenance activities. * Coordinate with plant teams during maintenance and technical activities. * Help ensure machinery and equipment are functioning properly and report any issues to the concerned team. * Maintain basic records and reports related to maintenance and technical activities. * Follow safety procedures and instructions during maintenance and plant activities. * Travel between different Green Worms plants for technical and maintenance support when required. **Job Requirements** * ITI / Diploma in **Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field**. * **0–1 year of experience** in plant maintenance, machinery, or a related technical role. * Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and basic knowledge may also apply. * Basic understanding of plant machinery, maintenance, and troubleshooting. * Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment is preferred. * Willingness to travel between multiple Green Worms plants when required. * Good coordination, teamwork, and communication skills. * Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures. **Preferred Skills** * Basic troubleshooting skills * Machinery and equipment handling * Preventive maintenance knowledge * Basic reporting and documentation * Team coordination * Safety awareness **Experience:** 0–1 year **Location:** Calicut, Kerala **Education:** ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹18,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
