Job Responsibilities & Requirements
- Should have minimum 2–3 years of relevant offshore electrical experience. Candidates with Oil & Gas / Marine / Offshore project experience will be preferred.
- Should be experienced in electrical cable laying, cable dressing and cable routing as per drawings and site requirements.
- Should be capable of cable lugging, termination and proper cable dressing.
- Should have good knowledge of cable glands, cable lugs, ferrules, heat shrink sleeves and proper termination practices.
- Should be capable of carrying out electrical installation activities as per approved drawings, specifications and site requirements.
- Should be able to read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
- Should have knowledge of cable tray installation, cable support and cable routing.
- Should be capable of carrying out control wiring and power wiring for electrical equipment and motor feeders.
- Should have basic knowledge of electrical testing, continuity checking, insulation resistance testing and troubleshooting.
- Should follow proper electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements and offshore HSE rules at all times.
- Should be capable of working effectively as part of an offshore electrical execution team and follow instructions from the Electrical Engineer/Supervisor.
- Should be physically and mentally prepared to work in an offshore environment for 13 hours per day, as per project requirements.
- Should maintain proper housekeeping and safe working practices at the work location.
- Should have good discipline, teamwork and communication skills.
Qualification: ITI Electrician / relevant electrical trade qualification preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Offshore Electrical experience required
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
