Senior Java Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, and microservices.

You will work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to build reliable and high-performing applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Analyze and resolve application performance and production issues.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Develop unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Follow secure coding and software development best practices.

Required Skills

• 4–7 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Git.
• Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms is preferred.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹554,000.00 - ₹830,000.00 per year
