Job Description: **Backend Developer** **Experience**: 6 \- 10 Years We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for building robust, scalable, and high\-performance applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend services, ensuring their reliability, efficiency, and security. **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain high\-quality backend services and APIs using Java. * Implement and manage microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and resilience. * Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes. * Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with various systems. * Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure data integrity and performance. * Hands\-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab Pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments. * Hands\-on experience with monitoring solutions using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar stacks to ensure the health and performance of our applications. * Collaborate with front\-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions. * Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. * Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions. * Stay up\-to\-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. **Must\-Have Skill Set:** * **Java:** Strong proficiency in Java development, including object\-oriented programming principles and common frameworks. * **Microservices:** Hands\-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices architectures. * **Kubernetes:** Practical experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment. * **REST APIs:** Expertise in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs. * **Database:** Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with various database systems. * **Strong expertise on SQL Query and Schema Optimization:** Proven ability to write complex and efficient SQL queries, and optimize database schemas for performance. * **CI/CD Tools (Jenkins or GitLab Pipelines):** Hands\-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab Pipelines. * **Design**: Contribution to design of a feature or module. * **Monitoring with ELK or similar stack:** Hands\-on experience with monitoring tools like ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana, etc. * **Cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure etc):** Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure. **Good\-to\-Have Skill Set:** * **Kotlin:** Familiarity or experience with Kotlin for backend development. * **Experience using AI tools in Day to Day activities:** Familiarity with or experience leveraging AI\-powered tools for tasks such as code generation, debugging assistance, or automated testing. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 6\-10 years of professional experience in backend development. * Excellent problem\-solving, analytical, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment.
