**JOB DESCRIPTION** **Position: Quality Control Executive** **Department:** Quality Control **Designation:** Quality Control Executive **Location:** Factory / Manufacturing Unit **Industry:** Rubber Manufacturing **1\. Job Purpose** To ensure that raw materials, in\-process products, and finished products meet the company’s required quality standards and customer specifications. The Quality Control Executive will be responsible for inspection, documentation, and identifying quality issues during the manufacturing process. **2\. Qualification** * Diploma / ITI * Minimum **2 years of experience** in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a manufacturing industry. * Experience in **rubber, automotive, molding, or component manufacturing** will be preferred. **3\. Key Responsibilities** * Inspect incoming raw materials and components as per defined quality standards. * Conduct **in\-process and final inspection** of manufactured products. * Check product dimensions, appearance, specifications, and other quality parameters. * Identify and report defects, deviations, and non\-conformities. * Prepare and maintain **Inspection Reports, Quality Check Sheets, Rejection Reports, and other QC records**. * Coordinate with the Production Department to resolve quality\-related issues. * Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards. * Maintain proper records of rejected, reworked, and accepted products. * Follow company safety rules, quality procedures, and work instructions. **4\. Required Skills** * Good knowledge of **Quality Control procedures and inspection methods**. * Knowledge of engineering drawings and basic GD\&T. * Ability to use measuring and inspection instruments. * Basic knowledge of **MS Excel and MS Office**. **5\. Experience** **Minimum 2 years of relevant experience** in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment. **6\. Key Performance Indicators (KPI)** * Inspection accuracy and timely completion of inspection reports. * Compliance with quality standards and specifications. * Effective closure of quality\-related issues. * Proper maintenance of quality documentation. **7\. Working Conditions** * The position will involve regular presence on the **factory/shop floor**. * May be required to work in shifts depending on production requirements.
