**Sri Krishna Education Trust Sri Krishna Education Trust** (Shishya Schools \& Minerva Colleges) runs CBSE and Cambridge schools alongside B.Ed, Pharmacy, BCA, MCA and Nursing colleges across multiple campuses, are looking for an
**IT Lead (Head – Information Technology)**
The Trust is looking for a hands\-on, delivery\-focused IT Lead to own the technology backbone of the institution — from enterprise IT architecture, hardware and software to apps, website hosting, email and data security. The IT Lead will design a scalable, secure and cost\-efficient technology landscape, standardise it across campuses, and ensure that teachers, students, parents and the Trust's central teams have reliable, modern digital tools every day, in line with the Trust's governance standards and Trustees' guidance.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**IT Strategy \& Architecture:** Define and own the Trust\-wide IT architecture and multi\-year technology roadmap — network, identity, cloud/on\-premise hosting, applications and integrations — aligned to the Trust's vision and the Trustees' guidance, and standardised across all schools and colleges.
**Hardware \& Infrastructure:** Plan, procure, deploy and maintain campus hardware — servers, networking and Wi\-Fi, firewalls, CCTV/biometric integration, computer labs, classroom devices, projectors/smart boards, printers and end\-user laptops — including asset register, AMC and lifecycle management.
**Software \& Licensing:** Own selection, licensing and compliance of software across the Trust (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365, productivity, security and academic tools); rationalise duplicate tools and negotiate with vendors for cost discipline.
**Apps \& Enterprise Systems:** Lead implementation, integration and support of the school/college ERP, LMS, admissions CRM, fee collection and finance systems, attendance and parent\-communication apps; ensure single\-source\-of\-truth data and smooth integration with the Finance Head in Bangalore and the Admissions team.
**Website Hosting \& Digital Presence:** Own hosting, domains, SSL, security, uptime, backups and performance of all Trust, school and college websites and admission landing pages; work with the marketing team on CMS updates, SEO basics, analytics and enquiry\-form\-to\-CRM integration.
**Email \& Collaboration:** Manage the Trust's email and collaboration environment — domains, mailboxes, user onboarding/offboarding, groups, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, spam and phishing controls, shared drives and video\-conferencing — with clear SLAs.
**Cybersecurity, Data Protection \& Compliance:** Establish security policies, access controls, endpoint protection, patching, backup and disaster\-recovery practices; ensure student, staff and financial data is protected and that the Trust complies with applicable data\-privacy (DPDP Act), board\-affiliation and statutory IT requirements; run periodic audits and cyber\-awareness training.
**Helpdesk \& Service Delivery:** Build and lead a tiered IT support model (central team plus campus IT coordinators) with a ticketing system, defined SLAs, and regular uptime and satisfaction reporting.
**Vendor, Budget \& Governance:** Manage IT vendors, contracts and the annual IT budget (CapEx/OpEx) in accordance with Trustees' guidance and in alignment with the Finance Head; track key metrics (uptime, ticket resolution, cost per user, asset utilisation, security incidents) and report to Trust leadership regularly.
**Digital Learning Enablement:** Partner with Principals and academic heads to enable digital classrooms, e\-learning, online assessments and exam\-time technology support, and train staff on tools adopted.
**Team Leadership:** Hire, mentor and hold accountable the IT team and campus coordinators; build a culture of ownership, responsiveness and professionalism.
**QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE**
\* B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT or Electronics (or MCA / equivalent); ITIL, CCNA, CISSP/CISM or cloud certifications are a plus.
\*Minimum 7\-8 years of IT experience, including 3\+ years leading infrastructure, applications or an IT function across multiple sites.
\*Experience in the education sector (schools / colleges / universities) or a multi\-location service organisation is strongly preferred.
\*Willingness to be based in Bengaluru and travel to campuses (including Pathankot, Punjab) as required.
