**Senior Engineer – MEP** **Location:** Kasaragod, Kerala **Experience:** 5\+ Years **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Pay Scale :** 35,000 – 50,000 **Send Your Resume to : office@tecla.co.in** **Position Overview** We are looking for an experienced and technically strong **Senior Engineer – MEP** to join our team in Kasaragod Project. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience in managing **Mechanical, Electrical \& Plumbing (MEP)** works, with strong knowledge of project execution, coordination, quality control, and site management. Experience in **high\-rise MEP projects** will be an added advantage. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan, supervise, and coordinate MEP works at the project site. * Manage the execution of electrical and/or mechanical services in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other project teams to ensure smooth project execution. * Review MEP drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings and identify discrepancies or design issues. * Monitor project progress and ensure MEP works are completed within the planned timelines. * Ensure all MEP installations comply with applicable standards, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. * Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and other services. * Conduct site inspections and ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. * Monitor material requirements, procurement, delivery, and utilization at site. * Prepare and maintain necessary reports, checklists, inspection requests, and project documentation. * Identify technical issues at site and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution. * Ensure adherence to project safety procedures and quality control requirements. * Supervise and guide junior engineers, supervisors, and site teams. * Participate in testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities. **Eligibility \& Qualifications** * **Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)** in **Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering**. * Minimum **5 years of relevant experience** in MEP engineering/project execution. * Experience in **high\-rise MEP projects is an added advantage**. * Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction practices, and site coordination. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Good project coordination, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively under project deadlines. **Preferred Skills** * Strong knowledge of MEP installation and construction practices. * Good coordination and team\-management skills. * Strong attention to quality, safety, and project timelines. * Proficiency in relevant engineering/design software will be an advantage. * Willingness to work at the project site in **Kasaragod**. **What We’re Looking For** A proactive and responsible MEP professional who can independently manage site activities, coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and ensure high\-quality MEP execution from installation through commissioning and handover.
