**Telecom NOC Engineer**

**Shift Timings \& Work Schedule (IST)**
* **12\-hour rotational shifts (Indian Standard Time – IST):**
+ 4:30 AM to 4:30 PM IST
+ 4:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST
* **Rotation Pattern:**
2\-night shifts 1 day off 2 morning shifts* + 3 days off
+ Average **15–16 working days per** **month**
**Operational Support**
* Provide Tier 2 technical support for legacy telecom switching and access technologies.
* Monitor alarms, analyze service impacts, and perform advanced troubleshooting activities.
* Handle incident management, problem management, and service restoration activities within SLA timelines.
* Support maintenance activities, planned changes, upgrades, and emergency restoration tasks.
* Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and network issues.
* Coordinate with field engineers, vendors, and internal support teams during outages and critical incidents.
* Review logs, traces, switch outputs, and system alarms to identify issues.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
* Support customer escalations and provide regular status updates during incidents.
* Participate in on\-call rotation and after\-hours support when required.
