We are a Jaipur\-based furniture design and manufacturing studio looking for a creative Interior Designer with a strong interest in furniture, product design and home textiles. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of interiors who can also think at a product level, developing individual furniture pieces, exploring materials, patterns, colours, prints and finishes, and translating ideas into production\-ready designs. The role combines furniture design, product development, 3D visualization, material and trend research, home textile exposure and catalogue development. Key Responsibilities * Research trends across interiors, furniture, home décor and home textiles. * Develop new furniture concepts and collections for living, dining, bedroom and workspace categories. * Create mood boards, sketches, colour stories, material palettes, patterns and design concepts. * Design furniture such as dressers, sideboards, consoles, tables, desks, cabinets, nightstands, seating and other home products. * Create accurate 2D drawings, 3D models and realistic renders. * Develop designs considering dimensions, ergonomics, materials and manufacturing feasibility. * Prepare drawings and specifications for the production team. * Coordinate with artisans and manufacturers during sampling and product development. * Explore materials such as solid wood, brass, cane, metal, fabrics and other handcrafted materials. * Have some exposure to home textiles, including fabrics, cushions, upholstery and other soft furnishings. * Understand basic surface design, patterns, colour combinations and printing techniques, particularly processes relevant to home furnishings. * Explore Jaipur's craft and textile ecosystem for new materials, prints, finishes and product\-development possibilities. * Create interior settings and lifestyle visualizations for presenting furniture and collections. * Prepare product information including dimensions, materials, finishes and descriptions. * Assist with maintaining product catalogues on international design platforms. Skills Required * Strong understanding of interior and furniture design. * Good sense of proportion, form, colour, materials, patterns and styling. * Ability to generate new and original design ideas. * Some understanding of home textiles, fabrics, printing, surface patterns and material development. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. * Experience with 3ds Max, Rhino, Blender or similar 3D software is an advantage. * Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator or similar design tools. * Ability to create realistic furniture and interior visualizations. * Basic understanding of furniture construction and manufacturing. * Good written English and ability to prepare clear product information. * Experience with AI\-based design and visualization tools would be an advantage. Qualification \& Experience Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Product Design, Furniture Design or a related design field. Candidates with 1–3 years of experience are preferred. Previous furniture\-industry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
